JAIN was the MEP Consultant on this $9 million expansion including courtrooms, holding cells, and administrative spaces. Heating/cooling is achieved via a geothermal heat pump system. The design was challenging as it was done to allow for minimal disruption of existing services while the Courthouse remained operational during construction. The expansion was designed to include state-of-the-art building systems and communication technologies while integrating with the existing heritage building.
