The Dubai Sustainable City consists of approximately 500 sustainable villas, a five-star sustainable resort, sustainable apartments, and townhouses, a sustainability academy, and university, a school, and commercial retail areas. With its unique sustainable features and solutions, the city incorporates organic farming, full water recycling, and low energy consumption. The city uses photovoltaic cells to generate power and adopts the concept of smart metering and smart grid solutions.

JAIN was appointed to carry out the design of the infrastructure services for the project including the design of main utility plants, sewage treatment plants, substations, and pumping stations.
