Dubai Sustainable City – UAE

Dubai Sustainable City aims to be a prototype for development of sustainable communities in Dubai. With its unique sustainable features and solutions, the Dubai Sustainable City development consists of approximately 500 sustainable villas, a five star sustainable resort, sustainable apartments and town houses, sustainability academy and university, a school and commercial retail areas. The city will feature a green belt around the development with a horse riding track. It will also house a large organic farm. The idea of the city is to develop a sustainable community with low energy consumption, full water recycling and adopting sustainable measures and approaches. It includes the utilization of photovoltaic cells to generate power and adopts the concept of smart metering and smart grid solutions. JAIN is appointed to carry out the design of the infrastructure services for the project including the design of main utility plants, sewage treatment plants, substations and pumping stations.

No. 1 Park Avenue – DIFC, Dubai, UAE

This was a 400+ meters mixed-used high-rise development comprising of commercial, residential and a 5 Star hotel hotel with retail/F&B throughout. JAIN’s scope included LEED Consultation and Documentation to obtain LEED® Gold Certification.

Milton Town Hall - Canada

This was a major expansion of the existing Town Hall in Milton. The project was designed to be an emergency response centre for the town and includes a high-end data centre. JAIN was the MEP and LEED®consultant for this project which achieved LEED® Certification. Key features of the building include a heat pump system, heat recovery from exhaust air, water-conserving plumbing fixtures, energy-efficient lighting and sophisticated BMS and lighting controls.

Scotia Bank Convention Centre – Niagara Falls, Canada

This was a new 288,000 ft state-of-the-art convention centre for which JAIN led the pursuit for LEED® Gold Certification. JAIN’s scope included energy modeling, facilitation of integrated design workshops and supervision of on-site activities related to LEED® Certification. The project was delivered via a design-build method; JAIN worked with the contractor and all consultants to ensure that all requirements of LEED® were met throughout the process.
